Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. During his school days he has served as House Captain as well as School Captain. He did his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. A surgeon by profession with special interest in Breast and Thyroid Diseases, Prof. Tariq Mansoor has 33 years of Teaching and 35 years of Clinical experience. He has 90 publications to his credit and has guided 49 Postgraduate Medical Students for their Thesis as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor

Urdu heritage festival 2018 ::highlighting the personality of Hazrat Amir Khusro

Artist from Around the globe comes together with Indian Opera and QissaGoi.

Delhi Urdu Heritage Festival (jashn e virasat e urdu) organised by Delhi Urdu Academy. There visitor's got to witness the amazing performances by the artists who showed the Urdu culture through their performances in Central Park, Connaught Place.

In this show, QissaGoi & Indian Opera Fusion embarked on the program .
It was a fabulous performance by QissaGo Syed Sahil Agha and Kabuki Khanna‘s team .

The concert started by highlighting the personality of Hazrat Amir Khusro. After that , the Indian folk songs mausiac started in the Indian Opera, which is very much appreciated by the people. Many interesting tales beautifully narrated by Syed Sahil Agha.
Tales of Urdu Heritage and Hindu Muslim unity, which was a great effort in maintaining religious unity in the country .

Kabuki’s amazing Composition, the rearrangements of the Indian classical songs with Western Classical and Opera with Arabic Music, her mesmerising and magical voice in Indian Opera left audience wanting to listen more of it. Indian classical songs by really good singer Bhargavi Thakur and Prof Dr. Rita Dav, the student of Thumri Queen Girja Devi, sang so beautifully, her fabulous voice was highly appreciated by the Audience. The entire performance was so fantastic and magical that it took the people to the other world.
There was a huge crowd of people at the Central Park in Connaught Place. The people could get a good entertainment and the buzz began with the roar of the park.

It was the phenomenal performance.
