Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. Two killed in north Bengal accident

Siliguri: Two persons were killed when a truck loaded with gas cylinders fell down 200 feet from National Highway 10 in north Bengal on Wednesday, police said.

Driver Tekbahadur Gurung and co-driver Goruav Chettri both perished after the tragedy at Suntaley Khola at Lohapool here.

While Chhetri died on the spot, Gurung breathed his last at the North Bengal Medical College Hospital.

Police cordoned off the area after the accident.
