Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. Five dead in hotel blast in Peshawar

Peshawar: Five members of the same family were killed and two were seriously injured in a blast at a hotel in Bilal Town on Pakistan’s GT Road, Peshawar.

As reported by The Tribune, a team of police and rescue officials visited the locations. Further, a bomb squad was also rushed to the site.

The blast occurred on the fourth floor of the hotel in room number 408.

Several cars parked in the parking lot were damaged.

The deceased and the injured were rushed to the hospital.

Further, the cause of the blast is not yet known. (ANI)
