Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. During his school days he has served as House Captain as well as School Captain. He did his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. A surgeon by profession with special interest in Breast and Thyroid Diseases, Prof. Tariq Mansoor has 33 years of Teaching and 35 years of Clinical experience. He has 90 publications to his credit and has guided 49 Postgraduate Medical Students for their Thesis as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor

In memory of Dr Jameela Majid Siddiqui "SOCH" NGO Distribute Blankets to needy

A Successful Blanket Donation Drive Organized by SOCH…beyond the imagination in the memory of Dr Jameela Majid Siddiqui.

SOCH…beyond the imagination an organization of Students of Aligarh Muslim University who recently send a team of doctors with medicines for flood victims of Chennai also organized a blanket distribution drive paying tribute to Dr Jameela Majid Siddiqui who has been a sympathizer to the organization SOCH

 Drive was organized in the urban slums of Aligarh. Where SOCH runs its Literacy centre.
Dr Shahid Jameel the renowned Scientist,Social Activist and beloved son of Dr Jameela Majid Siddiqui was chief guest of the occasion.
Dr Kashif Razi introduce the panel of the drive to the residents of the slums and motivated them to send their children to schools and educate them as much as possible.

Yusra Khan,Fareed Malik Shawaiz khan (members of SOCH) said, We are continuously in touch with the people of the slum areas and what so need arises among them our SOCH will try the level best to fulfill them.

Furqan Khan, Mohsin Hasan, Sartaj Alam, Adil Naseer, Afif Ahmad, Asim Siddiqui, Obaid Khan distributed the tokens some days before as per the survey made by them and manage the event successfully.

Dr Saleem Mohammad Khan President of the organization said that such typed of events,drives will be organized in the coming time too. Our main focus should be to educate or literate the children so that they can earn their livelihood by themselves. we are focusing on the issues of these children and it is the responsibility of parents to make our mission successful he added.


When AMUNetwork.com correspondent talk to Amood Gulzar (public Relations Incharge) he said I thank to everyone who make the blanket donation drive successful. All those people who get benefitted of this drive must dua for Dr Jameela Majid Siddiqui that Allah (SWT) grant Jannat-ul-firdous to her.
Dr Danish Suhail said that in the coming time we will keep eye on the health and hygienic problems of people living in the slums and we organize Health camps for them
