Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. During his school days he has served as House Captain as well as School Captain. He did his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. A surgeon by profession with special interest in Breast and Thyroid Diseases, Prof. Tariq Mansoor has 33 years of Teaching and 35 years of Clinical experience. He has 90 publications to his credit and has guided 49 Postgraduate Medical Students for their Thesis as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor

Turkey: Saudi Arabia’s Military forces arrive for Military Drill

Izmir: One of the world’s biggest military drill ‘ EFES 2018’ in Turkey’s Izmir city is scheduled for May next month according to a state news agency SPA.

Military forces from Saudi Arabia have already arrived in Izmir on Friday to participate in the EFES 2018 which is scheduled to begin on 7 May, MEM reported.

According to SPA agency, the Saudi Military forces were received at Suadi’s Embassy in Ankara by Rear Admiral Pilot Khalid Bin Hussein Al-Assaf and Commodore Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Diraibi, Commander Officer of the exercise.

This Military drill is considered to be one of the biggest military drills in the world according to Admiral Al Assaf in terms of various countries military forces participating in the drill while Commander Officer Al-Diraibi said this military drill aims at exchanging military expertise among the various countries participating which also trains the soldiers to plan and coordinate in joint operations in different operational environments which would enhance and increase the combat efficiency and military cooperation.
