Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. Gang hacks 55-year-old man to death

Puducherry: A five-member gang allegedly hacked a 55-year-old man to death near the government hospital here, police said today. The deceased Maran is said to be a member of the ruling Congress, they said.

An owner-cum-driver of an ambulance, he had returned to Puducherry from Chennai last night.
The gang members, who had come on three motorcycles, allegedly attacked and killed him when he went to a nearby tea shop, police said.
