Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. Father, son drown in a water pit

Hyderabad: In a heart-rending incident occurred at Uppal, a father and son drowned in a water pit. It is said that the father drowned in a bid to save his son.

According to police Arvind Kumar and his 3-year-old son Aditya both drowned in the pit.

Arvind Kumar was a labour residing in Suryanagar. On Monday the boy fell into the water pit while playing, the father tried to save him but he himself fell into it.
