Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. Two nabbed with gold bar worth Rs 40 lakh

New Delhi: An airport staff and a passenger have been arrested with a gold bar worth Rs 40 lakh concealed in a cigarette packet at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in the national capital.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) arrested the duo with the gold bar which weighed about 1,370 grams on Friday.

Both the apprehended are under the custody of customs officials. (ANI)
