Its a black day in AMU's history :AMU Old Boy

Dear All

In the VC's qualification case under litigation at Supreme Court, his lawyer and senior Congress leader, Mr. Salman Khursheed argued that for non-compliance of UGC Regulations, AMU's funding can be stopped by the UGC but it can't dictate the terms of VC's qualification!

The foot has grown bigger than the boot! We are even ready to sacrifice UGC's funding for the sake of saving an individual appointment. How many appointments have been quashed by different courts just in the tenure of the present VC. Why were we not ready to forego UGC grants for them? Why only for VC's appointment?

Its a black day in AMU's history. I hang my head in shame                                                                                                                                         Ashraf Mateen.
