The MoU was recently signed during a meeting of Vice Chancellors of Central Universities held at the UGC, New Delhi.

Professor M M Sufiyan Beg,  Principal Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology represented AMU on deputation by the AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (retd). He was accompanied by Dr P. M. Khan, Director, Computer Centre, AMU.
