Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. During his school days he has served as House Captain as well as School Captain. He did his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. A surgeon by profession with special interest in Breast and Thyroid Diseases, Prof. Tariq Mansoor has 33 years of Teaching and 35 years of Clinical experience. He has 90 publications to his credit and has guided 49 Postgraduate Medical Students for their Thesis as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor

Railway Ministry approved the demand of Sir syed Foundation

Aligarh:Sir Syed Minority foundation of India,Aligarh Muslim University President Perwez Siddiqui and his delegation met Minister of Railways Mr.Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu on 23 December 2015 regarding to stay of Six train including Seemanchal Express(12487-88).Mr.Perwez Siddiqui said we are in regular touch with the Ministry and finally due to which Railway Ministry approved the demand and gave great gift to AMU Fraternity by the Central Government.The benefit ulimately will be utilized by the not only AMU students but also teachers as well as Aligarh Residency.The train Seemanchal express will stay at Aligarh jn.from 17 March 2016. As the news heared from the Railway Ministry there is alot of happiness and delighted.Mr.Siddiqui said from down to dusk there is a lot of Congratulations came from many students including Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University and others.AMU fraternity welcome and thanksful and gave profund wishes to the Ministry.
