Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. During his school days he has served as House Captain as well as School Captain. He did his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. A surgeon by profession with special interest in Breast and Thyroid Diseases, Prof. Tariq Mansoor has 33 years of Teaching and 35 years of Clinical experience. He has 90 publications to his credit and has guided 49 Postgraduate Medical Students for their Thesis as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor

Aligarh :On 23/12/15 the President of Sir Syed Minority foundation of India(AMU students organisation)Mr.Perwez Siddiqui ,Mohd.Ifham,Abdul khaliq kamil was met to Union Railway minister Shri Suresh Parbhu at Railway Ministry demanding for stoppage some trains at Aligarh jn.Mr.Parbhu given assurance for stopping these trains at the Aligarh jn. further the team of Mr.Siddiqui meet to Union agriculture Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh in Delhi and demanding for a dairy Management course in AMU.Mr.Singh ready to launch this course but he want a proposal from Aligarh Muslim University.On the same day Mr.Siddiqui team meet to Union Drinking water&Sanitation Minister of State Shri Ramkripal Yadav in Delhi.Mr.Perwez Siddiqui demanding a water purifier research lab in Aligarh Muslim university.Mr.Kripal given suggestion for applying. firstly Aligarh Muslim University give me any research on project of water then I will approved from Central Government.
