According to Dr. Ata Khursheed, Assistant Librarian, Maulana Azad Library, Sir Syed started two journals, "Aligarh Institute Gazette" in 1866 and "Tahzeebul-Akhlaq" in 1870. However, the complete file of both the journals were not available in any library throughout the world. He said that even the Maulana Azad Library did not have the complete file as twelve different issues of "Tahzeebul-Akhlaq" were missing.
