Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. During his school days he has served as House Captain as well as School Captain. He did his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. A surgeon by profession with special interest in Breast and Thyroid Diseases, Prof. Tariq Mansoor has 33 years of Teaching and 35 years of Clinical experience. Mr. Aminesh Kumar Parashar, DM, Kishanganj, Bihar inspected the boundary wall construction at AMU Kishanganj Centre’s land at Chakla

ALIGARH July 23: Mr. Aminesh Kumar Parashar, District Magistrate, Kishanganj, Bihar inspected the boundary wall construction at AMU Kishanganj Centre’s land at Chakla along with Dr. Rashid Nehal, Director, AMU Kishanganj Centre.

Mr. Parashar, accompanied by Deputy Development Commissioner, Road Construction Division, Executive Engineer and Block Development Officer interacted with the HSCL site Engineer Mr. SK Chakraborty and enquired about the progress in the construction work. He said that the district administration has already initiated measures for the construction of approaching road and installation of power connection. He stressed the need to have a proper technical feasibility for initiating the building construction in keeping with the master plan of the University.

Mr. Parashar urged the need for third proper monitoring and assessment in order to make an effective utilization of the land provided by the State Government and the grants supposed to be released by the Union HRD Ministry.

The District Magistrate also assured that the district administration would provide Police post at the site as and when required. He confirmed that an extensive plantation drive will be conducted at the Centre’s land under MANAREGA scheme.
