Prof. Tariq Mansoor is presently serving as the Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Previously he has also served as Principal, J.N. Medical College, Chief Medical Superintendent, J.N. Medical College Hospital and Chairman, Department of Surgery. He is also the member of Medical Council of India since March 2015 for a period of four years. He is product of the first batch of prestigious Our Lady of Fatima Higher Secondary School, Aligarh. During his school days he has served as House Captain as well as School Captain. He did his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh. A surgeon by profession with special interest in Breast and Thyroid Diseases, Prof. Tariq Mansoor has 33 years of Teaching and 35 years of Clinical experience. He has 90 publications to his credit and has guided 49 Postgraduate Medical Students for their Thesis as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor

JNMC Prof Seema Hakim, P G Students awarded at UPCOG

ALIGARH December 10: Professor Seema Hakim, chairperson, Department of Gynecology, J N Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University along with other faculty members and P G Residents of Obstetrics and Gynecology brought accolades after being awarded at the 26th UPCOG Conference, Muzaffarnagar Medical College.

 

While, Prof Seema was conferred with the estimable Prof Meera Agnihorti Oration Medal and Memento for work in her field, Dr Mekhat Ansari got a gold medal for best research paper presentation.

 

Prof Seema was also awarded with a gold medal for introduction and successful conducting of quiz competition in UPCOG. Prof Seema also chaired Prof A D Engineer Oration. J N Medical College’s Associate Professor, Dr Shaheen who assisted Prof Seema in the quiz received accolades for the conduct. Prof Tamkin Khan Rabbani delivered a presentation on Massive Post Partum Hemorrhage

 

Meanwhile, a team of Dr Mekhat and Dr Meenal Singh, P G Students was given the third prize in a medical quiz competition.
