I would like to congratulate you and your party for recent
success in Elections, 2014. My main motive behind writing you
this message is to share my opinion. Definitely there are many
wise and intellectual people in your party, but looking at the
recent scenario and speculations, i don't want to miss the
opportunity to share my thoughts. I request you not to alliance
with BJP as this will mark the beginning of dark future for
Kashmir. I completely understand the role Center Govt. can
play in development of Kashmir, but one can't ignore the fact
that BJP is not a true well-wisher of Kashmiris. I have weighed
some positives and negatives in terms of different
combinations which PDP can opt for and the same i want to
share with Party's decision making panel.
1) PDP + BJP :
Combination is good in terms of number but this formation will
not be good for the betterment of your party and for the
betterment of people of Kashmir. First of all you will not have
dominating power as BJP is not a party that will accept any
domination when they have good no of seats in their bag and
that too when they have their own Govt. at Center. Secondly it
will definitely bring a sense of hatred among some of your
followers and well-wishers. Thirdly this combination will
definitely benefit NC & CONGRESS in future elections. Last
and most important is that in case there is a rift and
combination breaks due to any reason, you will not get support
of NC & Congress at that very time and in fact NC & congress
would love to have new elections as that would benefit the two.
2) PDP + NC + Others
Combination is possible. But i don't trust Mr. Omar Abdullah
because he is unpredictable sometimes. Also NC & PDP have
always seen themselves as rivals and alliance in the two parties
will not be an easy task. Even if you enter into an alliance then
one can’t rule out NC's hidden desire for power at any cost as
was seen in recent comments of Mr. Omar Abduallah who didn't
rule out his party’s alliance with BJP. This kind of domination
tactics will remain there even if PDP & NC choose to go for an
alliance. And even after entering into alliance i surely feel that
NC will withdraw its support at one time or other in order to go
for fresh elections.
3) PDP + CONGRESS + OTHERS: (28+ 12 +4 )
At this time this is the right combination that party should opt
for. Firstly congress will never enter into an alliance with BJP.
Secondly Congress will be least demanding as they have
suffered badly in recent elections. Thirdly PDP & CONGRESS
don't share the feeling of rivalry as is seen in PDP & NC.
Fourthly PDP+Congress combination will definitely give CM post
to your party for complete 5 years. But the important clause
for this combination is getting support from OTHERS. This is
where party should focus at this time and there is nothing
wrong if PDP takes the initiative of taking into confidence the
support of OTHERS.
List of Others:
1) Mr. Hakim Mohammed Yasin - Jammu & Kashmir People
Democratic Front
2) Mr. Mohammed Yousuf Tarigami - Communist Party of India
3) Mr. Sajad Gani Lone - Jammu & Kashmir People Conference
4) Mr. Bashir Ahmed Dar - Jammu & Kashmir People
5) Mr. Abdul Rashid Sheikh
I wish with true heart that we get Mr. Mufti Mohammed Sayed
as our new Chief Minister.
With Best Wishes
