AMU Media committee should act professionally : Dr Mohsin Raza

Dear Friends;I have posted this story, several timed on various networks during last 4 years..Surprisingly the AMU functionaries are not aware .The AMU functionaries should brief VC,before pushing him forward to media.
Infact the VC of a University of this magnitude is not supposed to involve with Press on trivial issues. This issue was magnified due to mishandling and lack of knowledge of the Media committee of AMU.The Media committee should face the Press with full preparations...unlike the way it was poorly handled"Media is a double edged weapon" ,Any one from AMU jumps infront of press/TV camera, without knowledge of history & events, talk on behalf of AMU .The Media committee of AMU regrettably sitting quiet on issues. They push the VC, unprepared, in front of press, to answer odd questions..The VC himself should better keep away from provides many tools to facilitate both local and global issues & initiatives. But like any other tool, this tool may also be used wisely or unwisely. It may facilitate or destroy. AMU Media committee should act professionally, not casually.I hope they are aware that "Media is a double edged weapon".
